The author and publisher of the popular childrens book series 'Harry Potter' announced that the title of the 7th and final book in the series will be 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.

This morning Scholastic Inc, J.K. Rowling's US publisher announced that the title for the final book in the 'Harry Potter' series will Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There were no further details released, and still no idea on when the book will be sold.
In a blog on her website, Rowling reports that she is still in the process of writing the final book, that she is writing scenes that have been planned and in the making for many years, and that the prospect of finishing the final book in the 'Harry Potter' series is very emotional for her.
The 'Harry Potter' series has continued to gain popularity and momentum since the first book was released in 1997. The series follows the main character 'Harry Potter', a young boy who discovers he has magical powers, as he attends a secret private school for young wizzards.
While there are still no reports on when readers can expect to have this final book in their hands, fans will be happy to know that the next, fifth, movie in the 'Harry Potter' series, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', will be released in July of 2007. And according to IMDB.com, a sixth movie, titled 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' is set to be released sometime in 2008.
