The NAFTA Super Highway Linking Mexico to America to Canada has begun construction in the south of Mexico and Texas as they begin widening Interstate 35 called Laredo Trans-Texas Corridor.

The Super Highway being built under the Nafta guidelines and secretly by the Bush Government is opening the eyes of Americans who will soon see many of their jobs lost. The introduction of SmartPort in Kanasas City is about to undertake the largest influx of imports eliminating jobs along the USA Borders. Only now are website against this highway being created as they try and bring to light how allowing Mexicans to drive trucks straight to KS clearing House or all the way to Canada. This unrestricted access allows Mexico to police the American border and USA Border Police won't have any access to what comes through on the Highway. Other complaints are the money is coming from outside sources and once they add tolls Americans will be taxed further. In other words the money to build it will go to non-Americans workers, the money to run it will go to non-Americans and the profit made from it will go to non-Americans.

Problems 1) non-Americans own, operate and build the road means money is drained from Americans 2) Mexico Border Authorities operate within the US under Mexico law and replace American Border Authories 3) High pollution levels due to encourage increase car use 4) Lost customs jobs across America 5) Gateway for Terrosist, drug Smuggling, and illegals entering the US. 6) Tax payers are funding and loaning the companies to build but will never see any return.

The super highway is already under construction in Laredo Trans-Texas Corridor expanding Interstate 35 to accommdate cars, truck, rail and gas lines. Texas's Pitch is that they will expand to 36 Million people by 2025 and they need to improve the road conditions to accommdate this future growth. As you can see they are slowly building the highway but not announcing it as one large super highway just an expansion in their own state as it is needed due to urban growth. The problems will continue to surface and more videos of the Super Highway Construction will soon surface. If you are concerned about this then tell your local media or congress man to stop the privatization of your roads.
