Iraqi Sunnis gunmen kill ten, kidnap fifty Iraqi Shiites from minibuses at a fake security road checkpoint.

While there were no reported US servicemen deaths on Saturday in Iraq, the Sunnis-Shiites violence continues to escalate as Iraqi bodies fill the morgues. The two religious groups are engaged in a wave of attacks, kidnappings and killings against each other.

The Iraqi police are yet unable to qwell the growing violence in Iraq. Infact there are many claims that the new Iraqi police and military servicemen are taking part in the secratarian violence themselves in 'death squads'.

The failure of the US administration is believed to be one of the major reasons for the strong democratic results in the recent US midterm election.
