The Toyota Camry gets even more formal recognition, this time winning the coveted Motor Trend Magazine's 'Car of the Year' award.

The Camry, already the best selling and most popular car in North America for the last few years, was recognized with another official title: '2007 Car of the Year'. The award recognizes the Camry in all its recent models, including the hybrid model.
The Camry beat out 27 other car models from various makers to be top of the list for 2007. This is the second Car of the Year awarded to Toyota in the last 4 years (previously won for 2004 Prius).
